Long Covid Umbrella

For some people, Long COVID may be similar to a condition (or multiple conditions) that were already known before COVID. There are several previously known conditions that are associated with Long COVID. Some of these conditions are well-understood and treatable, while others urgently require investment in research and education to reduce their impact on patients’ lives. “Long COVID” is often used as an umbrella term that covers both common symptoms of Long COVID and previously known conditions that a person develops after having COVID.
